Greetings Fellow Martial Arts Students and Sponsors!
Master An’s Tae Kwon Do is excited to announce a new activity that will be associated with the 3rd Annual R.A.I Championships Tournament that will occur this November 11th, 2007.
The Martial Arts philosophy requires all of us to respect and value all human life. Martial Art schools stands strong on this viewpoint, and instills this belief in every student that trains at their school. Master An’s, in particular, fosters the desire to help others whenever possible and to give back to the community. This message rings true in all Martial Art programs in schools offered today. Understanding that no matter how much one gives, there is always someone who will appreciate or benefit. In this spirit of giving, the 3rd Annual R.A.I. Championship Tournament Team is confident that together, we can show our kindness and desire to help those in need.
We all know that many family members and friends face incredible challenges brought on by illness that can make life quite difficult, but yet manage to meet these problems head on with incredible strength and drive, overcoming difficulties and maintaining a positive attitude.
This year Master An’s TaeKwonDo have kindly honored me(Ms. Phyllis Kirouac) with the position of spokesperson for a cause of my choice that will benefit from the proceeds of the Program Book Sponsors from the Invitational, as well as any donations that you may wish to make.
The focus this year will be research to cure children’s cancer. All of the Program Book Sponsors and any other personal donations will go to St. Jude’s hospital for children.
I sincerely believe that technology has become more specialized and that there is help for all just around the corner. Let us all open our hearts and give hope to all the children by supporting research with generosity. We can be the difference in helping children live happy, healthy lives with their family and friends.
This honor is very special to me! I truly believe as martial artist.
Thank you all.
Sincerely,
Phyllis Kirouac (BB, First Dan)
